Juventus Transfer Market: The Bianconeri Are Insisting on the Demotivated Inter Player
Davide Frattesi’s preseason, at least so far, has not yielded the desired results. On the field, Frattesi has yet to make his mark. In addition to the usual summer fitness training, there’s a lingering sense that he’s at the end of a cycle. For some time now, the 1999-born player has struggled to find consistency and playing time to showcase his qualities, and this seems to be reflected in his performance as well. Cristian Chivu, however, continues to show confidence in him during friendlies, regularly including him in the rotation, in the hope of rediscovering the player who was so admired in the past.
The real sticking point, however, concerns the transfer market. Although the midfielder’s desire to explore a different opportunity has been known for months, so far no club has made a decisive move with a convincing offer to Inter. The most credible option remains Juventus, even if the timing doesn’t seem right yet. The deal could gain momentum later on, once the Bianconeri have addressed other transfer priorities. In Turin, Frattesi would be reunited with figures he has already worked with, such as Giovanni Carnevali and Luciano Spalletti—a factor that could ease his transition.
Inter, for its part, has no intention of offering a discount and values the player at around 25 million euros. For this reason, the most suitable deal to satisfy both clubs has yet to be determined. The friendly match against Juventus, scheduled for this weekend, could provide Frattesi with an important showcase. A convincing performance in front of Juventus executives could reignite their interest and turn a mere transfer rumor into concrete negotiations.
