Major trade between Inter and Juventus; the clubs are working on it

Following Denzel Dumfries’ departure, Inter immediately set to work to find a suitable replacement, but so far Beppe Marotta and Piero Ausilio have not yet managed to fill the void left by the Dutch player. Things, however, could change soon.

In recent hours, Nico Gonzalez’s representatives have proposed the Argentine to Inter’s management, who are carefully evaluating the Juventus star. Last season, the former Fiorentina player played for Atlético Madrid, but the Colchoneros were unable to reach an agreement with Juventus regarding his permanent transfer, and the star returned to Turin.

For Luciano Spalletti, Nico Gonzalez is by no means untouchable, and he might ask Giovanni Carnevali to swap the winger for one of his protégés: Davide Frattesi. The midfielder and the coach from Certaldo have worked together on the national team, and the results have been excellent.

Currently, there has been no contact between Inter and Juventus to initiate negotiations, but things could suddenly pick up speed in the coming days, especially if the Nerazzurri’s target, Moussa Diaby, were to choose Germany.

The Al Ittihad star is in talks with Bayer Leverkusen, and if the deal goes through, Chivu would put further pressure on Ausilio to sign a winger. The young coach has been clear in recent days: “An emergency on the right? If you do the math, you’ll see that’s the case too. It depends on how you look at it—maybe we’re short on the left.”

“We have three wingers now—actually, three and a half, since Carlos could play there. I prefer him as a third man, though. And depending on how we view Luis Henrique—whether on the right or the left—we’re still missing one. The transfer window is still open for a while; we need to be patient and choose wisely,” Chivu said after the match against Manchester City.
