UFC in shock: Allan Nascimento has died. He was only 34 years old.

The UFC is in shock over the sudden death of Allan Nascimento, one of the most respected Brazilian flyweights on the circuit. The fighter was found unconscious on the morning of Monday, August 3; despite the efforts of emergency responders, the 34-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.

The promotion explained that Nascimento was found dead “after suffering a heart attack in his sleep,” adding: “Our thoughts and deepest condolences go out to Allan’s family, friends, teammates, and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.”.

Nascimento, a member of the legendary Chute Boxe Diego Lima team, had fought six times in the Octagon, compiling a 4-2 UFC record.
Over the course of his professional career, he had accumulated 22 wins and 7 losses, with 16 of those wins coming by submission—a statistic that made him one of the division’s most feared finishers.

The UFC remembered him as “a highly talented athlete and an exemplary professional,” noting that he was always there to offer advice to his teammates. In particular, he was known for his close friendship with Charles Oliveira, the former lightweight champion and current BMF titleholder.
