Preseason friendlies: Chelsea vs. Juventus, probable lineups

Chelsea and Juventus will face off at 1:30 p.m. (Italian time) in a friendly match scheduled to take place in Hong Kong. This is the fourth preseason match for Luciano Spalletti’s team, which has previously faced Basel, Standard Liège, and Nice, winning two out of three games and keeping a clean sheet in all of them. They face a much tougher challenge against Xabi Alonso’s team, which defeated the Western Sydney Wanderers in its first two preseason friendlies and lost 2-1 to Tottenham.
The Londoners will take the field with Joao Pedro starting up front from the 1st minute; behind him will be Quenda, Estevao, and Gitten in the attacking midfield. Caicedo and Lavia will partner in midfield.
Jonathan David will be the focal point of the attack for Juventus, while new signing Kolo Muani is expected to start on the bench. There is curiosity about whether the other new arrival, Alajbegovic, will see action, while Kenan Yildiz’s condition remains to be seen. Conceição, McKennie, and Boga are expected to play in the attacking midfield. Locatelli and Douglas Luiz will anchor the midfield, with Kalulu and Cambiaso as fullbacks. The match will be broadcast live on DAZN and Sky, and streamed on NOW.
