Milan Transfer Market: Rumors Resurface About Tomori’s Departure: Two Offers

Fikayo Tomori’s contract expires in 2027, and he has reached a crossroads: either he stays at Milan and extends his contract to avoid leaving on a free transfer next June, or he will be sold immediately. The Rossoneri are awaiting offers: many clubs have expressed interest.

In Italy, Juventus has stepped forward, while in the Premier League, Newcastle, Leeds, and Coventry have made some inquiries to gauge the terms of a potential deal. Liverpool has also been linked to the English defender, who is reportedly personally inclined to stay in Italy for another season.

According to the latest rumors, at least two offers have indeed landed on the Rossoneri executives’ desk, and the club is considering its next steps. Tomori’s departure would force the Rossoneri to immediately return to the transfer market in search of a replacement: among the names mentioned in recent days are Fiorentina’s Pongracic and Sporting’s Gonçalo Inácio. Milan has already signed Mario Gila from Lazio and values Tomori at around 15–20 million euros.

Tomori, who has been with Milan since 2021, has won one Serie A title with the Rossoneri. With the Rossoneri, he has played 214 matches across all competitions so far, scoring 7 goals. In 2022, he was named to the Serie A Team of the Year. Having come up through Chelsea’s youth system, he played for Brighton, Hull City, and Derby County before moving to Milanello.
