Sinner is expected to fly to Ohio sometime between today and tomorrow, but it remains to be seen whether he will actually take the court in Cincinnati or whether he will use the tournament merely as a warm-up for the New York Grand Slam. The recovery from his right knee injury—described as minor—is indeed progressing well, but the team must carefully assess his recovery timeline and the risk of immediately subjecting the joint to the stress of a tournament.
