Torino and Milan face off at 8:45 p.m. on Sunday in a match counting toward the first day of the Serie A season. Abate’s Granata—with the coach making his return to the stadium—are coming off a narrow victory in the Coppa Italia against Carrarese; Meanwhile, it’s the Rossoneri’s first-ever match under Ruben Amorim, who—after a mixed preseason—faces his first real test following a transfer window that has already seen over 150 million euros spent and is far from over.

Abate is counting on Mascardi in goal; in defense, new signing Comuzzo will line up alongside Ismajli and Coco, while in midfield, another newcomer, Fitz-Jim, will start alongside transfer target Gineitis. Pedersen and Cacciamani will play on the wings. Up front, Simeone will be supported by Vlasic and Njie.

New signing Gonçalo Ramos will be the focal point of the Diavolo’s attack, with Loftus-Cheek and Saelemaekers expected to lead the charge from the attacking midfield. Chukwueze and Estupinan will be on the wings, while in midfield, Musah is expected to start from the 1st minute alongside Modric. Rafael Leao is out due to injury, while Pulisic will start on the bench. In defense, newcomer Gila will make his debut from the 1st minute.
