Inter Transfer Market: A Departure Is Off the Table: “This Player Is Not for Sale”

Inter’s transfer campaign is drawing to a close: in the final days of the transfer window, the Nerazzurri could still make a move up front. Beppe Marotta and Piero Ausilio are considering adding a fifth forward—a low-cost signing with a profile that’s completely different from the current players on the roster.

However, the Milan-based club was quick to deny rumors of possible departures in that very position: in recent days, speculation had circulated about the departure of Ange-Yoan Bonny, who had been linked to Fiorentina. According to reports in *Corriere della Sera*, Inter considers the Ivorian international—who joined the club in 2025—to be “untransferable” and will not even consider a sale, at least for this transfer window.

Luis Henrique himself, who had been very close to joining Roma in recent days, is also expected to stay: the two clubs never reached an agreement on the terms of the Brazilian fullback’s transfer to the capital. Asllani, on the other hand, is definitely on his way out, as he is considered very close to a move to Al Jazira in the UAE: the deal is expected to close for a total of 8 million euros. Massolin is also on his way out, bound for Ligue 1.

Among the players the Nerazzurri management is monitoring for the attack are some very high-profile names. Federico Chiesa, on the fringes of Liverpool’s plans, has long been a target for Inter, who had already pursued him after his departure from Juventus: the star is open to a return to Serie A to relaunch his career and re-enter the national team’s plans. Also still in the mix are Jadon Sancho, a free agent following his disappointing loan spell at Aston Villa, and Raheem Sterling, fresh off a lackluster season split between Arsenal and Feyenoord—though the latter option is considered significantly more difficult to pull off.
