Monza Transfer Market: Two Big Signings at the End of the Window

Monza has announced the latest signings of the summer transfer window on its official website. The Brianza-based club has officially announced the arrivals of Exequiel Zeballos and Saba Goglichidze.

“Exequiel Zeballos is a new player for Monza. The Argentine forward, coming from Boca Juniors, has signed a contract with the red-and-white club through June 30, 2030. Born in Santiago del Estero on April 24, 2002, he joined the Boca Juniors youth academy at age 12 and, in 2018, became the youngest player to sign a professional contract with the club. He made his official debut on November 29, 2020, in the Copa Diego Armando Maradona match against Newell’s Old Boys.

“In 2022, he won the League Championship, the Super Cup, and the Copa de la Liga Profesional with Boca Juniors, for whom he has played a total of 140 matches and scored 16 goals, thrilling fans with his dribbling, goals, and magical plays. A winger capable of playing on both flanks and also in the attacking midfield with creativity, Zeballos is ready to embark on his first exciting adventure in Italy wearing the Monza jersey.”

Here is the announcement regarding Georgian defender Goglichidze: “Saba Goglichidze is a new player for Monza. The Georgian defender arrives on loan from Udinese until June 30, 2027, with an option to buy in favor of the red-and-white club. Born in Kutaisi on June 25, 2004, he came up through the youth ranks at Torpedo Kutaisi, making his professional debut with them on July 4, 2021, in the Georgian league. After making 32 appearances for his hometown club, he was signed by Empoli in January 2024. With the Tuscan club, he made his Serie A debut on August 31, 2024, in Bologna and made 33 appearances in his first season in the top flight, also reaching a surprising Coppa Italia semifinal, where he played in three matches.”

“His excellent performance caught the attention of several clubs, and Udinese signed him in the summer of 2025. After spending the first half of the season in Serie A with the Friuli-based club, he was loaned to Watford in January 2026, where he made 12 appearances in the Championship. A defender with great physical and technical skills, he also has 10 caps for Georgia. Monza now awaits him for a new adventure in Serie A.”
