Turin Transfer Market: Mandragora’s move from Fiorentina is official—here are the details. A new wingback has also been signed.

A positive final day of the transfer window for Torino, which landed the midfield signing it was seeking. Rolando Mandragora officially returns to the Granata jersey, which he had previously worn in 2021 and 2022, leaving fond memories with Toro fans.

The contract for the midfielder from Campania, who left Fiorentina, was filed with the Serie A League offices before the gong that closed the summer transfer window. Born in 1997, he will immediately make himself available to coach Ignazio Abate and will meet his new teammates in the coming days, hoping to take on an important role in Torino’s midfield at a club he knows well.

Mandragora has signed a four-year contract running through 2030, and Torino will pay Fiorentina a fee of approximately 5 million euros. The player is expected in Turin for his physical and to sign the contract.

Torino has also officially announced the signing of Nathan Patterson from Everton. The Scottish fullback, born in 2001, has joined on a permanent basis for an undisclosed fee, to which 30% of any future transfer fee will be added. He came up through the ranks at Rangers Glasgow and has made 29 appearances for the Scottish national team.

Patterson has signed a three-year contract with the Piedmont-based club. After joining Everton from Rangers in January 2022, the player struggled to secure playing time at the Premier League club and last season played just 240 minutes in total in England’s top flight. Patterson’s contract expires in 2027: he would be the third Scot to wear the Granata jersey after Denis Law and Che Adams.
