Parma and Monza are still searching for their first point of the season and will face off on Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Ennio Tardini Stadium. The Crociati, fresh off their elimination from the Coppa Italia at the hands of Cremonese, could field a three-man defense, while Ivan Juric has two major concerns: Ngonge and Varela.

In recent training sessions, Carlos Cuesta has been testing a three-man defense with Delprato, Troilo, and Drobnic and could deploy it against the team from Brianza. Britschgi and Valeri will play on the wings, with Fabbian, Keita, and Ordóñez in the middle. El Bilal Touré, favored over Lontani, and Romero will form the attacking duo.

Ivan Juric won’t be able to count on Ciurria and Pessina, while Ngonge and Varela remain doubtful until the last minute. Tornqvist is expected to start in goal, though Thiam is eager to earn a starting spot; in defense, Kouadio, Lucchesi, and Carboni will start. Akinsanmiro and Folorunsho will start in midfield alongside Birindelli and Mangas; behind Dany Mota, Cutrone and Colpani will play.
