Collaboration is strengthening between the Latemar Dolomites Alpine region (20 minutes from Bolzano), tourism operators from the Bolzano Tourist Board, and Misano Adriatico on the Adriatic Riviera. As in previous years, meetings are currently taking place to share results and objectives.

A press conference is scheduled for Thursday in Misano Adriatico to present the latest developments in this collaboration between Latemar Dolomites, VisitMisano, and the Bolzano Tourist Board. Representatives from these organizations will be present on the Misano Adriatico boardwalk from Friday, September 11, through Sunday, September 13, with their own exhibition area to showcase Bolzano’s winter attractions—including its renowned Christmas markets—and those of the Latemar Dolomites region to Italian and international guests. The press conference will be attended by Thomas Ondertoller, director of marketing and communications for the Obereggen Latemar SpA ski lift company; Roland Buratti, President of the Bolzano Tourist Board, along with Director Roberta Agosti; Fabrizio Piccioni, Mayor of Misano Adriatico; Marco Dominici, Councilor for Tourism; and Filippo Valentini, Councilor for Sports; Luigi Bellettini, President of VisitMisano; Massimo Leardini, President of the Hoteliers’ Association, and Andrea Albani, Managing Director of the “Misano World Circuit”; as well as Antonino Minchillo, a marketing consultant who first proposed the “Misano-Obereggen” partnership.

“It is a pleasure to reciprocate the hospitality we received this winter from our friends in the Latemar Dolomites region and the Bolzano Tourist Board,” said Misano Mayor Fabrizio Piccioni. ““This collaboration, which has been ongoing for several years now, is invaluable because it allows us to mutually leverage two key times of the year as showcases: the winter season on the slopes of Obereggen and the summer season on the Misano Adriatico coast during a weekend like that of the San Marino and Rimini Riviera MotoGP Grand Prix,”.

“The results of this synergy,” adds Luigi Bellettini, president of VisitMisano, “are tangible. Over the past two seasons, we’ve seen significant growth in the number of tourists from South Tyrol and neighboring areas, which underscores the importance of this collaboration, which we must continue to strengthen.”

“It is deeply satisfying to see the partnership with our friends in Misano Adriatico and Bolzano take root through joint promotional efforts, with the hope that it will continue through targeted events,” says Thomas Ondertoller, director of marketing and communications at Obereggen Latemar SpA, whose summer season in the Dolomites will continue through October 4.

“This partnership represents a concrete opportunity to connect different regions, public entities, and seasonal periods. Our presence in Misano during the Grand Prix allows us to promote Bolzano and its winter offerings in a high-visibility setting, strengthening a partnership that has already been well-established,” says Roland Buratti, president of the Bolzano Tourist Board.
