Leandro Bolmaro is one of the key players for Armani Olimpia Milano. Last year, he was voted the best defender in the Italian league, and with a string of outstanding plays, he was instrumental in the many successes the red-and-white club has achieved in Italy.

This summer, he didn’t consider any other clubs and stayed in Milan, bolstered by a contract running through 2027, with an option for 2028. He is now fully prepared for his third season in a Milan jersey. On the sidelines of an event to announce the new partnership with the Mocauto-Omoda duo, the Argentine was also asked about his future.

“That’s not my business; I just focus on playing. You’ll have to talk to my agent; I’m only interested in playing, and then we’ll see what happens,” he said regarding a contract extension that the entire Armani Olimpia Milano fanbase is hoping for.

In short, for now, his full focus is on the court (Armani Olimpia Milano’s official season opener is on the weekend of September 19–20 with the Italian Super Cup semifinal against Virtus Bologna). Then there will be time and opportunity to evaluate all the options on the table. Clearly, the NBA option is also on the table. After all, every player dreams of playing in the NBA. Incidentally, Leandro Bolmaro has already played there (with the Minnesota Timberwolves and Utah Jazz), though he didn’t make much of an impact.
