Is there no room for Pulisic in Amorim’s Milan? Rossoneri fans are divided

Until the end of last season, Pulisic was a key player for the Diavolo. Despite a few minor injuries, he finished the 2025–26 season with 10 goals in 34 appearances. He seemed ready for another standout season, but for now, that hasn’t been the case.

In the first three games of the season, the American forward has been left on the sidelines, to the point that he has yet to make his debut with Milan under Amorim. So far, the Portuguese coach has preferred the young Cisse, who has scored two crucial goals in three games.

In fact, it’s worth noting that Pulisic has been dealing with some physical issues for some time now. During the World Cup, he had to deal with bone edema and a microfracture in the junction between the tibia and fibula of his right leg. In short, extreme caution is warranted.

However, it seems odd that he hasn’t played a single minute this season. It remains to be seen whether Pulisic is a first-choice player in Amorim’s lineup or not. It should be noted that the American has a contract with the Rossoneri through June 2028. Fans are currently divided: some miss him, while others think betting on Cisse is a good idea. There are also those who believe that, perhaps, he could have been traded during the transfer window, along with his “teammate” Leao.
