Inter Transfer Market: The Goal Is Four Contract Extensions, but It Won’t Be Easy

With the summer transfer window now closed, Inter is focused on contract renewals. Specifically, the Nerazzurri are reportedly working to reach an agreement with four players on the roster: Dimarco, Carlos Augusto, Bastoni, and Calhanoglu.

As for Dimarco, the path seems clear. The Nerazzurri fullback has already shown on multiple occasions that he wants nothing but Inter (there had been talk of Barcelona making a move for him). There are also rumors of a salary increase. His current contract expires in 2028 and will be extended through 2030.

The situation with Carlos Augusto isn’t a major concern either. All the conditions are in place to continue the journey together. It remains to be seen, however, how to negotiate with Bastoni’s representatives, even though the defender does not seem inclined to consider other options and the club appears determined to keep him (his contract expires in 2028).

The most delicate renewal is Calhanoglu’s. During the summer transfer window, the Turkish midfielder came close to returning to his home country. His contract expires at the end of the current season, and he wants certain guarantees. A meeting between the parties is expected to take place in the coming days to reach an agreement. Inter is eager to secure a fourth consecutive title, but it won’t be an easy feat.
