The past few months have marked a period of significant changes for Sofia Goggia, both in her athletic career and in the way she manages her daily life. The Italian champion has, in fact, made some key changes to her staff, marking the beginning of a new phase in her career.

After ending her collaboration with Luca Agazzi—who is now in charge of the giant slalom team—Goggia has entrusted her training to Gianluca Rulfi. This is not a new face for the Bergamo native, as the two already share a long-standing relationship and work well together. The new appointment, however, entails a significant change in her day-to-day routine.

There are also changes regarding ski preparation. The longtime ski technician Barnaba “Babi” Greppi has decided to retire, and Markus Gufler has taken his place.

In addition to these changes in the technical staff, there is another, more personal one: Goggia has ended her professional relationship with the psychiatrist who had been supporting her in recent years.
