These are decisive days for Jannik Sinner: his suitcase is on the bed, but…

Jannik Sinner has returned to training on the court. The world No. 1 has resumed training in Monte Carlo alongside his coach Simone Vagnozzi, completing a session at the Country Club. The schedule includes another training session on Monday, while how he feels during these first few days will be crucial for assessing his condition and planning his return to competition.
The goal is to determine whether Sinner will be able to compete as scheduled on the Asian swing, which includes tournaments in Beijing and Shanghai. The Italian has been absent from tournaments since Wimbledon, which he won on July 12 in the final against Alexander Zverev.
Since August 5, Sinner has been undergoing a recovery program at JMedical, assisted by the medical staff and professionals who support him in his training and rehabilitation. During this time, he withdrew from the Cincinnati Masters 1000 and the U.S. Open.
The plan calls for his official return to competition at the ATP 500 in Beijing, which begins on September 30, provided that his performance in training sessions over the next few days confirms his full recovery.
