Physical problems continue for young star
After living, throughout 2022, with so many injuries, Alcaraz hoped to have put his black period behind him, but that does not appear to be the case. The young Spaniard, via social media, certified his hamstring problem (first-degree hamstring strain in his right leg) and, consequently, his inability to participate in the Acapulco tournament.
“It hurts me a lot not to participate here (in Acapulco), but now is the time to think about recovering to try to get ready as soon as possible. I hope we will see each other again soon!” his clear words. Now to figure out which tournaments he may be forced to miss. Among them, watch out for the Indian Wells Masters 1000, scheduled to begin next Monday.
