Sky Sport Secures Broadcasting Rights for UEFA EURO 2028

Sky reaffirms its status as the leader in UEFA club and national team competitions: in addition to the excitement of major European matches on Cup nights, Sky Sport doubles its coverage with the broadcast rights to UEFA EURO 2028, the European Qualifiers, and the 2026–2027 UEFA Nations League. On Sky and via streaming on NOW, viewers will be able to experience all 51 matches of the European Championship—24 of which will be broadcast exclusively—to be held in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland from June 9 to July 9, 2028.

With Sky Sport’s coverage of all live events, plus daily in-depth analysis provided by studio segments, regular features, and specials, with correspondents on every field, top commentators, and the full team of journalists on hand.

On “La Casa dello Sport,” viewers will be able to watch the best matches featuring foreign national teams during the group stage of the 2026/2027 UEFA Nations League, which kicks off on September 24, as well as all matches—including any played by the Italian national team—in the UEFA Nations League Finals scheduled for June 2027. Sky will also broadcast the top matches featuring foreign national teams during the group stage and playoffs of the UEFA EURO 2028 Qualifiers, along with the major international friendlies leading up to the European Championship. Rounding out the coverage will be highlights from all the matches.

Sky Sport is also fully committed to covering Roberto Mancini’s new Italian national team, which aims to return to Wembley—where he triumphed with the Azzurri in 2021 during a memorable tournament— which was also covered by Sky, and where 8 matches of the 2028 tournament will be played, including the semifinals and the final. Once again, the coverage will accompany the Azzurri through Sky Sport’s signature “always-on” reporting model: reporters constantly on the road with the national team at training camps, in Coverciano, and on European away trips; round-the-clock coverage; live pre- and post-match segments featuring all interviews, commentary, and highlights from the national team’s Nations League and Qualifiers matches, always with dedicated pre- and post-match studio segments.
