MotoGP, Pedro Acosta: “I’ve come full circle”

KTM rider Pedro Acosta expressed his satisfaction after securing his first career MotoGP victory: “It’s a great way to come full circle with KTM,” explained the Spanish rider. “There were so many KTM flags all around. I’m thrilled for them, because they deserve it more than I do.”
Speaking to Sky, Acosta analyzed the race as follows: “All that experience helped me win today, including yesterday’s crash. It’s tough to get a chance in MotoGP against Ducati and Aprilia. We’re not at their level, and yesterday’s crash didn’t help. In the end, we won at KTM’s home track—I’m truly happy.”
“I want to be a good person even when I’m frustrated. I’m definitely happier than on other days,” confessed Acosta, who then reflected on Saturday’s crash.
“Missing out on victory yesterday because of my own fault wasn’t easy. Today I couldn’t afford to make any mistakes; I’m happy for KTM. I know the financial sacrifices they’ve made.”
