2026-2027 Nations League: Portugal vs. Wales, Probable Lineups

Portugal and Wales face off at 8:45 p.m. in the first match of Group 4 in League A of the 2026–2027 Nations League. Norway and Denmark are also in their group. The Portuguese reached the round of 16 in the last World Cup, while the British failed to qualify, losing to Bosnia in the playoffs.

This will be Portugal head coach Jorge Jesus’s first match in charge; he is expected to once again start Cristiano Ronaldo as the center forward, with Neto, Bruno Fernandes, and João Félix behind him. Vitinha and João Neves will anchor the midfield.

Wales has several players out; up front, Bellamy is expected to start Daniel James, supported by Brooks, Thomas, and Johnson. In midfield, Ampadu will partner with Jordan James.
