Lithuania vs. Azerbaijan is a match in Group 2 of League D of the 2026–2027 Nations League. Edgaras Jankauskas, head coach of Lithuania, warned his team: “You could say that the match against Liechtenstein didn’t require too much effort; the players got the result they needed. But the Azerbaijani team is stronger and technically superior to our previous opponent. They have players with international experience who compete in the Champions League, so they’ll be a higher-caliber opponent.”
