2026-2027 Nations League: Serbia vs. the Netherlands, Probable Lineups

Serbia vs. the Netherlands is scheduled for Sunday at 6:00 p.m. as part of Matchday 2 of Group 2 in League A of the 2026–2027 Nations League. The hosts lost their home opener against Greece and are looking to bounce back in front of their home fans. The Oranje, on the other hand, are coming off a home draw against Germany.

Serbia will be without the injured Dusan Vlahovic; Jovic and Tadic will lead the attack. In midfield, Sergey Milinkovic-Savic will partner with Lukic and Maksimovic, while Zivkovic and Kostic will play on the wings.

The visitors will feature Zirkzee (or Meerdink) as their main attacking threat in place of Brobbey, who is sidelined with a muscle injury. Behind him, Summerville, Reijndeers, and Gakpo will create opportunities. Gravenberch and Veerman will play in midfield.

Head coach Xabi had this to say about Zirkzee, who could start from the 1st minute despite a less-than-impressive start to the season at Manchester: “He can be very important for us. I think he’s a good player and can help us tremendously. Our center forward needs to understand our system and our philosophy. Right now, he can help us more than the others. We have to win in Serbia—it’s an important game for our standings.”
