The 29th day of the Saudi Pro League opens at 8 p.m. at the Riyadh Stadium with a match between top-ranked Al-Nassr and Al-Ettifaq. Cristiano Ronaldo’s team aims to armor the top spot to continue a winning streak that now appears unstoppable. With the league entering its most important phase, any misstep risks being fatal; the clash with the Dammam formation represents a true test of maturity to see if the Yellow and Gold will be able to stretch to +8 over Simone Inzaghi’s Al-Hilal, currently the first direct pursuer. If the hosts are flying on the wings of enthusiasm, Al-Ettifaq will take the field with nothing to lose but with the desire to pull off a feat by winning against the first in the class and reopening the title race.

Jorge Jesus fields a very solid and compact team. In front of Bento, the defense is supported by Simakan and Al Amri. The midfield is classy with Brozovic and Gabriel in the direction, while on the outsides will act the arrows Coman and Mane. In attack, the spotlight will be on the pair formed by Joao Félix who will act as a second forward in support of the immense Cristiano Ronaldo.

Al Sheri responds with a denser team in the middle of the field. With Rodak between the posts and the Calvo-Hindi pair in protection, maneuvering will come through the feet of Medran and Duda. In the three-quarter, the key man is Wijnaldum, who will have the task of inspiring the trident completed by Costa and Al Ghannam, who will move behind the sole striker Dembele.
