Juventus: Luciano Spalletti Ready to Launch a Mini-Revolution

According to Tuttosport, Luciano Spalletti reportedly wanted more time to gradually integrate Kerim Alajbegovic into the team. First and foremost, to get to know him better, study his strengths, understand how he could be useful to Juventus, and above all, figure out how to fully harness a talent that the coach considers undeniable.

Spalletti, however, is convinced that Alajbegovic possesses crystal-clear talent and qualities that are decidedly above average. This is to be expected, given his age and still-limited experience at the highest levels: he has only one high-profile season under his belt—the one he played with Salzburg last year—as well as a World Cup with Bosnia where he played a leading role. It’s an important journey, but still insufficient to definitively determine the limits of his growth.

Meanwhile, Spalletti is already considering how to develop him into a potential number 10. Alajbegovic is well-versed in the left-wing position and will continue to be used primarily there, partly because the absences of Boga—expected to return in November—and Yildiz—who should be available again in early December—will inevitably accelerate his integration into the team.

These flashes of genius still need to be harnessed and put to work for the needs of a team that is obligated to aim for victory.
