2026-2027 Nations League: Armenia vs. Montenegro, Probable Lineups

On Monday at 6 p.m., Armenia will host Montenegro in a match to be held at the Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium in the capital, Yerevan. Melikyan’s team is coming off a strong victory against Latvia, while the visitors, led by former Juventus player Mirko Vučinić, narrowly defeated Cyprus in their previous match.

In recent months, Armenia has posted solid results under coach Yeghishe Melikyan, but against Montenegro, the coach will be without Hovhannisyan, who is sidelined after suffering an injury against Latvia.

Shaghoyan will take his place on the left side of midfield, with Serobyan, Iwu, and Spertsyan rounding out the midfield. In defense, Bandikyan and Tiknizyan will play as fullbacks, with Piloyan, Bueno, and Harutyunyan in the center. Miranyan will be the lone striker.

Mirko Vučinić is not expected to make any changes to the starting lineup that defeated Cyprus in the last match: Popović is therefore confirmed in goal behind Roganović, Savi, Vujačić, and Gasević. Janković and Bulatović will play in midfield with Adžić playing slightly higher up to allow him to make the most of his scoring ability; in the attacking trio, Osmajić and Krstović will play alongside the ever-reliable Jovetic.
