2026-2027 Nations League: Denmark vs. Portugal, Probable Lineups

Copenhagen’s Parken Stadium will host the match between Denmark and Portugal, part of Matchday 3 of Group 4 in League A of the 2026-27 UEFA Nations League. The Portuguese enter the match with a perfect record and are aiming for their third consecutive win, while the hosts are looking to pick up more points following their victory over Wales.
Brian Riemer’s Denmark bounced back from a 3-2 loss to Norway by defeating Wales 2-0. The Danes have now climbed to three points and hope to use home-field advantage to give the defending champions a run for their money.
Jorge Jesus’ Portugal, meanwhile, sits in first place with a perfect record. Following a 1-0 win over Wales, the Portuguese team also defeated Norway 2-1, bringing their total to six points. The goal is to extend their winning streak and solidify their lead in the group. Recent head-to-head results favor Portugal, which has won four of its last five matches against Denmark, including a 5-2 victory in the last edition of the Nations League.
Riemer will have to do without Patrick Dorgu, who was sidelined with a hamstring injury during the match against Wales. Mohamed Daramy is expected to take his place, joining Isaksen and Damsgaard in the attacking midfield. Rasmus Højlund is confirmed up front, while Hjulmand and Højbjerg will play in midfield.
Portugal, meanwhile, welcomes back Bruno Fernandes, who is set to return to the starting lineup after missing the match against Norway. The Manchester United midfielder is expected to play alongside Vitinha and João Neves. Up front, AC Milan’s Gonçalo Ramos will be flanked by João Félix and Pedro Neto. In front of Diogo Costa, the central defensive pairing will consist of Rúben Dias and Veiga.
Probable lineups:
