A post shared on Instagram by Elisa Isoardi is sparking debate far beyond the host’s original intentions. In a photo shared on the social network—which was taken during an editorial meeting for *Bar Centrale*, Rai1’s Saturday afternoon show—a macabre detail appeared in the background that did not go unnoticed by users.

On a whiteboard in the offices, the words “Dead Pool” are clearly visible, accompanied by a numbered list of famous people and their ages. The list captured in the social media post includes names well-known to the Italian public: among those clearly legible are Lino Banfi, Renzo Arbore, Sophia Loren, Mogol, Liliana Segre, Tony Renis, Adriano Celentano, Vincenzo Mollica, Johnny Dorelli, Maurizio Mattioli, Giovanni Allevi, Paolo Conte, Teddy Reno, Roberto Vecchioni, Massimo Boldi, Vittorio Sgarbi, Memo Remigi, Sergio Mattarella, Dino Zoff, and Mina.

The photo quickly began circulating on social media, where many users expressed dismay at the chalkboard’s content, calling it a “shameful death pool.” Particularly sensitive is the inclusion, among others, of Giovanni Allevi, who in recent years has publicly shared his journey with illness. The list also includes very elderly figures and individuals particularly beloved by the Italian public, a circumstance that has helped fuel the controversy.

At this time, there have been no official explanations from Elisa Isoardi, the show’s production team, or RAI. However, the terrible impression left by a list that ended up publicly exposing the full names of real people in connection with a macabre prediction of their deaths remains.
