Inter Transfer Market: Another Italian Club Is on the Trail of Santiago Beltran

The goalkeeper market has gained a new contender for Santiago Beltran, the young River Plate goalkeeper who has already caught Inter’s eye. Fiorentina has also reportedly made initial contact regarding the 2004-born player, who is considered one of the most promising prospects.
The Viola are reportedly looking for a long-term solution for their goalkeeping position and see the Argentine as an investment capable of securing the club’s future. For now, these are exploratory talks, but negotiations could heat up in the coming weeks.
What makes the situation particularly interesting is the player’s contractual status: he is under contract with River Plate through 2027 and, according to rumors, does not intend to renew his contract. The Argentine club would therefore like to secure a deal as early as the upcoming winter transfer window, to avoid the risk of losing him without receiving compensation.
His transfer value is estimated to be around 20 million euros, despite his contract expiring relatively soon. In fact, there is reportedly significant international competition for the goalkeeper, with several clubs showing interest, particularly from the Bundesliga and the Premier League.
Inter had already been tracking Beltran in recent months, as had Juventus, and continues to view him as a player to monitor for the future. Fiorentina, however, could now enter the race for the Argentine talent in earnest; back home, he has even been compared to Emiliano Dibu Martinez for his skills between the posts.
