Bayern Munich will host Leipzig at the Allianz Arena in a match scheduled for 6:30 p.m. as part of the sixth matchday of the Bundesliga.

The Bavarians come into the match off the back of two consecutive draws: a 2-2 tie against Augsburg in the league and a 3-3 draw on the road against Viking in the Champions League. Vincent Kompany’s team is therefore looking to get back to winning ways in front of their home crowd. On the other hand, Leipzig is seeking to build on its momentum following a convincing 6-0 win over Eintracht Frankfurt and a 1-0 victory against PSV in Europe.

As for Bayern Munich, Kompany is expected to rely on Harry Kane as the main striker, with Michael Olise and Luis Diaz on the wings and Serge Gnabry in the attacking midfield. In midfield, the duo of Joshua Kimmich and Aleksandar Pavlovic will start, while Konrad Laimer and Alphonso Davies are expected to play on the defensive flanks. In goal, with Manuel Neuer sidelined due to a foot injury, Jonas Urbig is set to start. Jamal Musiala is out with an injury.

Leipzig is expected to respond with Romulo leading the attack, supported by Christopher Nkunku, Brajan Gruda, and Antonio Nusa. Ezechiel Banzuzi and Neil El Aynaoui are expected in midfield, while Ridle Baku and David Raum are expected to start on the defensive flanks. Martín Demichelis will have to do without Christoph Baumgartner, who is still recovering from a thigh injury. Marc Guiu and Assan Ouédraogo are also unavailable.
