2026-2027 Serie A: Roma vs. Genoa, Probable Lineups

The Olimpico is gearing up to host the match between Roma and Genoa, scheduled for tonight at 8:45 p.m. as part of the seventh matchday of Serie A.
The Giallorossi need to bounce back after their 4-3 loss to Real Madrid in the Champions League, which came after squandering a two-goal lead. In the league, however, Gian Piero Gasperini’s team is coming off a scoreless draw against Como and is looking for a win—one that has eluded them since September 14. On the other hand, Genoa arrives in the capital with greater confidence following its 2-1 victory over Fiorentina, its first of the season. The match will also be special for Daniele De Rossi, who returns to the Olimpico as an opponent of the team where he spent most of his career.
As for Roma, Gasperini must deal with several absences: Malen is suspended, while Dybala, Koné, Svilar, and Cristante will not be available. Castro is expected to lead the attack, supported by Soulé and Rodrigo Mora, with Pisilli and de Roon in midfield. Wesley and Lulli will start on the wings.
De Rossi’s Genoa is coming off a win against Fiorentina and aims to build on that momentum. Up front, Osmajic is expected to serve as the focal point of the attack, with Messias behind him and El Shaarawy on the left wing. Frendrup and Ellertsson are expected in midfield, while in defense, Otoa is in line for a starting spot alongside Østigård.
