Massimiliano Allegri’s future may not be at AC Milan. Raising doubts about the Livorno coach’s permanence on the Rossoneri bench is not only the sharp drop in results, but also the National team hypothesis for the coach from Livorno. In fact, according to rumors, one of the strongest candidates for the FIGC presidency, Giovanni Malagò, would seem to be willing to strongly support Allegri’s candidacy as the new coach.

At the moment, Allegri is focused on the goal yet to be achieved, namely securing Champions League qualification on the field, then the time will come to make the final choices. According to Sportitalia reports, both Milan and the coach have doubts about the continuation of their relationship. The coach has ended up in the crosshairs of criticism above all for the quality of the game expressed in much of the season: for weeks on social networks the fans have returned to express dissatisfaction with the coach, dusting off the hashtag #AllegriOut.

In addition, relations between the club and the coach do not seem idyllic, and Allegri himself is no longer so convinced of staying: one of the main points of friction concerns precisely the market choices of the last two sessions. In the summer the non-arrival of a starting center forward, in the winter the failure to reinforce the defense and the disappointing signing of Fullkrug have irritated the coach.

In the coming weeks important news could arrive, but the Diavolo must first close the fourth-place discourse: Como at five points and Roma at 6 are worrying the Rossoneri fans.

Making the climate at Milan’s home even heavier came Saturday’s heavy home defeat against Udinese: a clear 3-0 defeat at the San Siro – with goals by Bartesaghi (own goal), Ekkelenkamp and Atta – that represents the clearest knockout of Allegri’s second era on the Rossoneri bench. The third ko in the last four games, after those against Lazio and Napoli, triggered boos from the Meazza crowd and further complicated the race for fourth place, with Como and Juventus ready to take advantage.
