2026-2027 Serie B: Sampdoria vs. Arezzo, Probable Lineups

After the heavy defeat in Avellino, Bernardo Corradi’s Sampdoria already seems to be at a crucial crossroads in the season, even though only six league games had been played prior to today. The Blucerchiati are set to face newly promoted Arezzo at home; Arezzo hasn’t won since September 11 but is coming off a scoreless home draw against Cremonese.
Sampdoria has earned just four points so far, thanks to a 1-1 draw at Cesena on the first matchday and a 2-1 win over Catanzaro that preceded the long break for international duty. For Corradi, who will be without the injured Lorenzo Insigne on Sunday, this is a true make-or-break match: another misstep could lead the Blucerchiati management—already dissatisfied with the team’s last-place standing—to reassess the coaching situation.
Arezzo, on the other hand, is just outside the relegation playoff zone, having earned seven points in the first six matchdays. The Amaranto have two wins: a 2-1 victory at the “Partenio-Lombardi” stadium in Avellino on the opening matchday against the Biancoverdi, and a win on the road against Empoli on the fourth matchday. The team coached by Cristian Bucchi is struggling to find the back of the net: after scoring four goals in the first two matchdays, they’ve managed just two in the following four, one of which came when the game was already decided against Südtirol (the 1-4 goal scored by Mancuso).
