Nutribullet Treviso head coach Marcelo Nicola commented on the victory at the Taliercio against Reyer Venice: “The game was like a roller coaster: we started off well, then struggled in the second quarter, and the second half went the same way. We did a great job in the fourth quarter—down by six—when we corrected some of the mistakes we were making to get back into the flow of the game.”

“I think the team took a step forward physically to counter Reyer’s physicality, but also mentally in certain areas where we can still improve—though it’s a good starting point. Now we need to keep improving and working hard.”

“Reyer is a very big team that relies heavily on physicality. We did well not to let that physicality get to us the way it had in Milan: in fact, we accepted it, countered it, and showed our own solidity, especially down the stretch.”

Nicola particularly praised his team’s spirit: “They have a fighting spirit, stay focused on the small details, and the players communicate very well with each other. We also had two serious injuries, but we managed to replace them, and the team welcomed the newcomers in the best possible way and integrated them into a system that isn’t easy to adapt to.”
