Ligue 1 2026–2027: PSG vs. Lyon, Probable Lineups

The Parc des Princes is gearing up to host a match that will decide the top spot in Ligue 1. Paris Saint-Germain and Lyon face off on Monday evening at 8:30 p.m., coinciding with the 2026 Ballon d’Or ceremony. It’s an evening that also closely involves the Parisian club, which has ten players among the nominees for the prestigious individual award.
The two teams are tied at 14 points, with OL ahead on goal difference. PSG heads into the match on the heels of four straight league wins and a 4-2 victory over Barcelona in the Champions League. Paulo Fonseca’s team, on the other hand, has lost only one of its first seven Ligue 1 matches but is coming off a heavy 3-0 defeat to Hoffenheim in the Europa League.
PSG will have to deal with several key absences, including Kvaratskhelia, Dembélé, Marquinhos, and Nuno Mendes. Luis Enrique is expected to rely on Ferran Torres as the main attacking threat, with Akliouche and Doué rounding out the front three. Vitinha and João Neves are expected in midfield, while Hakimi and Lucas Hernandez should play on the defensive flanks.
Lyon is expected to respond with a 4-3-3 formation, relying on the speed of Nuamah and Duranville up front. Tolisso is expected in midfield, while Niakhaté should lead the defense. Paulo Fonseca will have to do without the injured Openda, Ouédraogo, Tagliafico, and Šulc, as well as Keito Nakamura, who is suspended.
