Juventus Transfer Market: A Forward Is at Risk of Losing His Spot. Raimondo and Others in January

Juventus continues to consider how to strengthen the attacking lineup at Luciano Spalletti’s disposal, as he has long been asking for a prolific striker. Randal Kolo Muani has played in every Serie A match so far, scoring only once—when the Bianconeri drew with Cagliari.

The Tuscan coach might leave the Frenchman on the bench for the midweek match against Genoa, starting Nick Woltemade from the opening whistle, flanked by either Alajbegovic or Boga, who would be deployed as a second striker. It’s a temporary solution, but one made necessary by the Bianconeri’s injury crisis, which has also seen them lose Nico Gonzalez in recent days.

Kolo Muani’s scoring struggles are particularly alarming to the Old Lady’s management, who know full well that qualifying for the next Champions League is practically impossible without a prolific striker. They are considering a major signing in January, and according to Tuttosport, the names on the list include Folarin Balogun and Antonio Raimondo.

The former made a name for himself at the World Cup playing for the United States, though he isn’t currently shining with Monaco in Ligue 1, where he has seen limited playing time. Things are going much better for Serie A’s current leading scorer, Alessandro Raimondo, who is on fire at Frosinone. Bringing him to Turin right away in January, however, could prove to be an impossible mission.
