Another blunder for Gianluigi Donnarumma: the Italian national team goalkeeper, who isn’t having the best of times, was caught off guard on Leipzig’s 1-1 equalizer in their match against Manchester City, part of the fourth matchday of the group stage of the continental competition.

After City took the lead thanks to an own goal by Lukeba, Baku equalized for the home team in the 49th minute, capitalizing on the poor positioning of the former PSG goalkeeper, who was caught completely off guard at the near post by an angled shot. The English runners-up managed to bounce back, however, with Enzo Fernández scoring to make it 2-1, and after Nusa’s diagonal shot tied the game at 2-2, Haaland scored the winning goal in the 78th minute off an assist from Anderson.

Real Madrid struggled in Athens but beat AEK 3-2 thanks to goals from Bellingham, Mbappé, and Valverde, while Liverpool fell 3-2 to Fenerbahçe in Turkey. Club Brugge secured a 2-1 away win at PSV, and Arsenal also won on the road, defeating Slavia Prague 2-1. Viking and Dortmund both claimed home victories, beating Sabah FC 4-1 and Betis 2-1, respectively.
