Serie A2: Upcoming Matches to Be Broadcast Free-to-Air on Rai Sport Announced

The National Basketball League, in agreement with its television partner Rai Sport, has officially announced the schedule for the December games of the 2026/27 Serie A2 Old Wild West season, which will be broadcast live and free-to-air on Rai Sport HD (channel 58 on digital terrestrial TV) and streamed on RaiPlay.

The first game is scheduled for Friday, December 11, at 9:00 p.m., when ProValue Juvecaserta 2021 will host Wegreenit Urania Milano at the PalaPiccolo in Caserta, in a match counting toward the 14th round. On Sunday, December 20, at 8:45 p.m., the Pala Del Mauro will host the matchup between Halley Campania Avellino Basket and Libertas Livorno 1947, as part of the 16th matchday.

These two games are in addition to the televised matches already announced for November: Sunday, the 8th, at 8:45 p.m., La T Tecnica Gema Montecatini vs. Lumos Pistoia Basket; Sunday, the 22nd, at 8:45 p.m., Libertas Livorno 1947 vs. Banco di Sardegna Sassari; Tuesday, the 24th, at 8:30 p.m., Reale Mutua Torino vs. ProValue Juvecaserta 2021; and Friday, the 27th, at 8:45 p.m., Dole Basket Rimini vs. CMT Orange Tools Pesaro.

The season will feature a 20-team league, with 16 returning teams, Dinamo Sassari—relegated from Serie A—and three newly promoted teams from Serie B Nazionale: Caserta, Montecatini, and Vigevano. Only the team finishing first in the regular season will be promoted directly to Serie A for the 2027–2028 season, while the teams ranked second through thirteenth will compete for promotion through play-ins and playoffs, in best-of-five series. At the bottom of the standings, the 20th-place team will be directly relegated to B Nazionale, while the teams ranked 16th through 19th will compete in the playouts.
