Correzzana, a charming town in Brianza, just a few kilometers from the better-known Arcore, is getting ready to welcome running enthusiasts for a new edition of the 8KORRERUN, a non-competitive recreational running event organized by ASD Correzzana and affiliated with FIASP. This Sunday’s event is dedicated to those who love to run, walk, and spend a few hours outdoors, immersed in the splendid landscapes of the Valle del Lambro Park, among trails, nature, and picturesque views of the Brianza region.

The 8KORRERUN offers three different distances, designed to meet the needs of participants with varying fitness levels. The 7-kilometer route is ideal for those who want to enjoy a shorter walk or run, while the 14-kilometer route is aimed at those seeking a moderate challenge. For more experienced runners, there is also a 21-kilometer route, which allows participants to tackle a more challenging distance in the picturesque natural setting of Brianza.

The non-competitive nature of the event focuses on the joy of movement, without the pressure of a stopwatch or rankings. It’s an opportunity to enjoy sports at your own pace, either alone or with others.

The meeting point is at the Municipal Sports Center at Via Principale 38 in Correzzana, which serves as the event’s starting point. Starts will be on a rolling basis from 7:45 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. For participants in the longest route—the 21-kilometer course—the latest start time will be 9:00 a.m.

This format allows participants to choose when to begin their run, within the time frames set by the organizers.

There are two registration options for the 8KORRERUN 2026: 4 euros for the entry fee without a promotional gift and 7 euros for the entry fee with a promotional gift. Non-FIASP members will be charged an additional 1 euro.

For groups of at least 20 people, pre-registration must be completed by 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 7, 2026. For information and pre-registration, please contact Andrea at 348 3148902, Luca at 348 7779408, or send an email to 8korrerun@gmail.com.
