Offer coming in for Rafael Leao, Milan has already decided

In the Milan house it is time for great reflections and in the next summer some very important elements of the Rossoneri’s roster could say goodbye. This is the case, for example, of Rafael Leao: the Portuguese, despite the first good responses, has shown that he is not able to express his full potential in the 3-5-2 designed by Massimiliano Allegri and the difficulties are there for all to see.
Last summer several clubs showed interest in Leao but Milan decided to keep him in the hope that with Allegri he would finally be able to show his full potential but this has not been the case and the sale is getting closer and closer. The speedy Portuguese has a 170 million euro rescission clause but Milan has already decided that it will listen to offers even considerably lower.
Among the most interested clubs is Bayern Munich, looking for a player to alternate with Luis Diaz given the Bavarians’ busy schedule. Sporting director Max Eberl had already made a survey last summer after Leroy Sané’s farewell but eventually decided to sign Diaz from Liverpool by shelling out 70 million euros. Leao, however, has never been off the Bavarian club’s radar and the club will most likely make an offer to Milan.
The Rossoneri star is not the only option for Bayern Munich: the club is also considering Nico Williams, who narrowly missed out last summer and is eager to leave Spain as soon as possible to relaunch his career and establish himself at a top club.
