There is a very clear signature on Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza’s victory against Valsa Group Modena in Game 5 of the Play Off Quarterfinals, and it is that of Ramazan Efe Mandiraci. In the four sets played at the PalaPanini, the Turkish hammer put up 22 points, but distinguished himself especially on serve, where he scored an impressive 9 aces.

A result that propels him to fourth place among the best service performances in the history of SuperLega/A1. This season, only a few have been able to do as well (among them Paul Buchegger), while the performance of Oleh Plotnytskyi, author of 10 aces on the third day of the Regular Season in the match between Perugia and Padua, remains superior.

Looking at the best absolute performances, ahead of Mandiraci are Jose Miguel Gutierrez (17 aces) and Modena’s Luca Porro and again Buchegger (14 each). In addition to his effectiveness on serve, Mandiraci was also the best on offense, finishing with 13 winning points.

In the all-Emilian challenge, Piacenza’s captain Robertlandy Simon also stood out: the Cuban center hit double figures with 10 points, embellishing his performance with 4 walls in the four sets played.
