Attending the Miami Open final between Jannik Sinner and Jiří Lehečka was also Lucka Neumannová, the Czech tennis player’s popular influencer partner. Lucka, who boasts more than 160,000 followers on Instagram, tried hard to support her love Jiří but her cheering was not enough and Sinner took home the trophy.

Lucka Neumannová played tennis for several years, then chose athletics. “I played competitively and tried to give it my all, even for a few years I took online classes so I could take advantage of every moment. Unfortunately, I started playing tennis late and the others were at a much more advanced level than me and at some point I decided to change,” he said in an interview with juvenil.cz.

“Many athletics experts at that time advised me to try and my mother also pushed me a lot, so I decided to try and it went pretty well. It turns out I have a greater aptitude and talent for endurance sports. I told myself that I would try athletics and tennis for two months, and athletics won me over right away; I found myself there. In addition, I met great people and enjoyed it so much that I eventually continued.”

Lucka is the daughter of Kateřina Neumannová, a former cross-country skier and mountain biker who competed primarily in Nordic skiing, the sport in which she captured her greatest successes with several Olympic and rainbow medals. He has won 6 Olympic medals: 1 gold (30 km in Turin 2006), 4 silvers (5 km in Nagano 1998; 15 km, pursuit in Salt Lake City 2002; pursuit in Turin 2006) and 1 bronze (pursuit in Nagano 1998), in addition there are five rainbow medals on his palmarès: 2 gold (10 km in Oberstdorf 2005; 10 km in Sapporo 2007), 1 silver (pursuit in Sapporo 2007) and 2 bronze (15 km in Trondheim 1997; 5 km in Ramsau am Dachstein 1999).
