It is an open challenge between Juventus and Barcelona to secure Bernardo Silva. The Portuguese midfielder’s farewell to Manchester City now seems inevitable, and interesting news is emerging from Portugal about his preferences. According to A Bola, the 1994 class has reportedly indicated the Catalans as the ideal destination for the last big chapter of his career. Not surprisingly, his agent, Jorge Mendes, would have already initiated contacts with Joan Laporta and Deco, with whom he maintains excellent relations. However, the operation remains far from simple.

Barcelona, in fact, does not consider Bernardo Silva a priority, considering the offensive department already well covered. Into this scenario comes Juventus, which has taken concrete steps by proposing a three-year contract worth 7-8 million euros per season. An important offer, but one that at the moment the player has put on the back burner: his intention is to wait for Barcelona and only then evaluate possible alternatives.

The options, however, are not lacking. Behind Juventus remain vigilant several MLS clubs (including Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami) and some clubs in Saudi Arabia. Also watch out for Galatasaray, where Victor Osimhen, known for targeting established stars, plays. More defiled, however, is the track that would lead to Benfica led by Jose Mourinho.
