Pre-World Cup 2026 friendlies: Norway-Switzerland, likely lineups

Norway and Switzerland face off at 6 p.m. in a friendly match in preparation for the 2026 World Cup. The Scandinavians, who aspire to be the surprise team at the rainbow event in North America, are coming off a dominating qualifying round and seven goals scored in two games against Italy. The Helvetians, who finished first in a group with Kosovo, Slovenia and Sweden, lost their previous test match against Germany 4-3 last Friday.
Haaland is expected to start from the 1′, with Bobb and Elyounoussi on his flanks. In midfield, Ødegaard, Berge, Thorsby make up a solid trio, the full-backs will be Ryerson and Bjorkan.
