Pre-World Cup 2026 friendlies: Netherlands-Ecuador, likely lineups

Holland and Ecuador take on each other Tuesday night in a high-level friendly test, continuing the build-up to the 2026 World Cup. The Oranje, fresh from a significant win against Norway, aim to consolidate their system of play by taking advantage of the warmth of the home crowd. In front of them will find an Ecuador at its second consecutive World Cup qualification and protagonist of a movement in constant growth in recent years; the draw against Morocco in their last outing is proof of that. It will not be an easy commitment for the hosts against the national team dragged by the talent of Caicedo and Pacho.
Koeman, with his 4-2-3-1, for tonight’s match could give a chance to Flekken between the posts. In defense Van Dijk confirmed, Frimpong could take over on the right, forward there will be Simons and Reijnders in support of Brobbey.
South Americans with Galindez in goal, Ordoñez and Pacho confirmed in the center of defense, Estupiñán ahead of Hincapié as left-back, Caicedo in the median, Yeboah and Plata in the trequart with Rodriguez as the first forward.
