Kalidou Koulibaly is now the defensive mainstay of Maurizio Sarri’s Napoli. Over the course of the season, the class of ’91 has turned into a veritable certainty, becoming the object of desire of several top European clubs as well.
Thanks to his physicality and excellent recent performances, the player is now a darling of São Paulo. His agent, however, does not rule out the possibility of a transfer: “Koulibaly has a contract with Napoli for quite some time. Now, if there should be an opportunity to go to a club that plays the Champions League every year, he will think about it without any doubt,” Bruno Satin’s words in an interview with ‘So Foot’.
And then the jab: “From the point of view of facilities, Napoli is still a ‘small’ club. When it rains at the stadium, there is a fear of getting a shock in the presidential stand, because there are suspended electrical wires. It’s a detail, but I don’t think it’s like that at Bayern.”
