“Kudos to the guys, for the energy they put in at a difficult time,” is how Jasmin Repesa comments on the matinee win in Venice, which keeps Milan alone at the top of the league standings. “It was a good game of energy and aggressiveness winning with full merit,” continued the white-and-red coach, analyzing the match at Taliercio. “We have trained little recently because with so many competitions in fact only Lafayette is well and the others are all injured, are coming back from injuries or are not at the top, so we did well.”
A note of credit goes to Gentile, who seems to be on his way to fully recovering his form after his long stop: “I liked the energy but he needs to be more intense and become an example however today his contribution was huge. Everything, however, has to start with the defense.” There is no time to rejoice over the important success, as in two days there is the first leg of the Eurocup quarterfinals in Trento: “We want to recover our energy quickly because already in a few hours we will go on the court in a game that we cannot miss.”
