The return leg of the playoffs opens Tuesday night at 8 p.m., where the U-Power Stadium will be the scene of the final act between Monza and Juve Stabia, a challenge in which everything is still to be done and in perfect balance. The 2-2 draw in the first leg, obtained by the Brianzoli in the final minutes, froze the Castellammare crowd, leaving every scenario open for this return semifinal of the Serie B playoffs. Up for grabs is a pass to the final against the winner of Palermo-Catanzaro, the last hurdle before the Serie A dream. The regulations, however, smile on the hosts; in the event of a further draw in the 90 minutes, Monza will qualify by virtue of their third place in the regular season against the Vespas’ seventh. For Ignazio Abate’s boys, there are no calculations to continue chasing the dream, the only useful result is victory.

Bianco largely confirms the first leg lockout. In front of Thiam, the three-man defense will be led by Ravanelli with Delli Carri and Lucchesi. In midfield, the experienced Obiang will pair with captain Pessina, while Bakoune and Azzi will act on the outside lanes. In the three-quarter, Hernani and Cutrone will be tasked with supporting the lone striker Petagna.

Debted to win, Abate will rely on his solid form. Protecting Confente will act the trio of Dalle Mura, Giorgini and Bellich. In the box will be Leone, flanked by Mosti and Correia, with Ricciardi and Cacciamani ready to push on the flanks. All hopes of scoring rest with the attacking pair Gabrielloni-Okoro, a dynamic duo chosen to unhinge the home defense.
