The Playoff Quarterfinal series between Venice and Derthona moves to Piedmont, in Tortona. After the first two challenges played at Taliercio, Umana Reyer visits Bertram for Game 3, with the series currently at 2-0 in favor of the Orogranata. The Laggunarians aim to immediately close in on the talk: in case of victory they would immediately secure direct access to the Scudetto semifinals.

“We are very clear on what we have to do,” said Venice coach Neven Spahija. “We are in the playoffs and our work is not over yet. We have to go to Tortona with humility and great mental focus, prepared to face a difficult game in which we will need a lot of energy. On paper we are ahead 2-0, but we are going there to play exactly as if we were 0-0″.

“We face a team that has a lot of quality and is coached very well. Moreover, for them it will be an inside or outside game: playing at home, in front of their public, they will definitely give 200% of their chances to try to extend the series.”

“We have to go there with the right philosophy, the same one we have always put in throughout the season in away games. We will have to play with physicality, confidence and patience. We and Tortona know each other very well by now, we have played so many games against each other and it is very difficult to change something from a tactical point of view in such a short time.”
