Mirza Alibegovic, future may change right away: major offer on the way

There could be the new club of Roma, which will play in the Serie A basketball league having acquired the sports title of Vanoli Cremona, in the future of Mirza Alibegovic. The APU Udine captain, according to a report in the ‘Messaggero Veneto,’ is on the list of players that have aroused the interest of the Donnie Nelson-led venture, which will bring a club from the capital back to Serie A with an eye on the NBA Europe project, which at least in the intentions of Adam Silver should start in the second half of 2027.

At the age of 1992, Mirza Alibegovic has been playing in Udine since 2023, arriving just from Vanoli Cremona. With the Friulians, he won as captain the 2024-2025 A2 Series and the subsequent promotion to the top division, and in 2025-2026 he contributed to the salvation of the bianconero club, which will also play in the A Series next year.
